Shipping and delivery of my handmade products

As soon as your order has been received by me, I will get to work for you. Your order will be well packed and prepared for shipment. I aim to have your order delivered to your home (in the Netherlands) within three days. Orders elsewhere in Europe or further away like the US, Canada, Australia etc. take a little longer but will be shipped asap. Feel free to contact me if you are in a hurry and I will see what is possible.

Products that have to be made have a longer delivery time. This is then stated with the relevant article.

As soon as the order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a Track & Trace code by email with which the package can be tracked

For orders above 75,- euro you don’t pay shipping fees, unless shipping to where you live is very expensive. In that case 2BeInBalance will contact you to find a solution in which case it is possible you will be asked to pay some shipping costs. If you don’t agree to this you always have the right to cancel your order.

Home delivery

If you are not at home at the time of delivery, the parcel deliverer will leave a ‘not at home message’. With this message you can pick up your package from the next day at the nearest PostNL or DHL collection point. If you do not collect the package, it will be returned to us after 7 days.

Returns and exchanges

At 2BeInBalance it is of course possible to exchange or return your order (provided the ordered product does not fall under a legal exception). This is possible within 14 days after receipt of your complete order. Always contact us first, so that we are already aware of the return, via or via the Contact form.

Right of withdrawal / Cooling-off period

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount, including shipping costs, within 14 days. If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging. The costs of the return shipment are for your own account, unless there is damage. We will inform you as soon as possible whether the order has been returned in good order.

Returns due to damage

We pack the order with the greatest care. Each item is carefully checked for damage before we pack it for you. It is of course possible that something goes wrong during transport. If you receive a damaged box or package from the courier service, take a photo of the box before opening it. If the order is also damaged, we need your photo to recover the damage from the courier service.

Returns after customization

If a product has been specially made for you (with the exception of regular repeat orders of the products in the store), return is only possible in the event of (demonstrable) damage during shipment. In all other cases you will receive a maximum refund of 50% of the order amount including shipping costs.


You notify us within 24 hours of receipt of your order by e-mail ( that the order is damaged. Please attach (a) photo(s) to the notification. That way we get a good idea of the damage and how to settle it.

We will then contact you as soon as possible about the procedure to be followed. We prefer to do this by telephone and confirm the appointments by e-mail. Therefore please state your telephone number in the e-mail.

We will ensure that you receive new items as soon as possible or we will refund the amount you paid for the ordered item, depending on the situation and stock.

Returning because package was not picked up within the term at a collection point

If the postal deliverer is unable to deliver your order, the order can be delivered to a collection point chosen by the postal deliverer. You are responsible for collecting the order on time, usually within 7 days. The costs of return if not picked up on time are for your account. In consultation and at your request, the order can be sent again. These shipping costs are for your account.
